SENIOR APPOINTMENTS IN SANGATH
Sangath with over 70 service providers is seeking to fill a number of senior positions as listed below.Research Director - S/he will specifically be expected to lead the research component of our new School Health Project, aiming to build the evidence base to promote the health of children and adolescents through school based interventions, utilizing case studies, systematic reviews and evaluation of programs. S/he will also be encouraged to develop new proposals in any area of public health which fits into Sangath's mandate, lead trainings course in research methodology, and provide overall leadership of Sangath's research program. S/he will be a member of the senior management team of the organization.
The candidate should have an appropriate qualification in research (e.g. an MPH/M Phil/ Ph. D in health or related social sciences) with demonstrated experience of research expertise such as publications in peer-reviewed journals and/or being lead investigator in successful research grant applications. An attractive package, in line with the seniority of this position, is offered.
Senior Research Officer – should have a Masters degree in any of the social science or (para) medical disciplines preferably with experience of evaluating the health programs and willing to travel to other states of India. Contract fees: Rs.15000/- per month.
Librarian/Dissemination Officer – should be a graduate or have experience in Library Science and have knowledge of computers and internet. She/he will be responsible for management of the library, documenting and coordinating training programs and the database for Sangath. Contract fees: Rs.10000/- per month.
Project Secretary – should be a graduate with good writing, organizing and computer skills with experience of handling accounts and official correspondence. Contract fees: Rs. 7000/- per month.
