Organizations that strive to meet the health challenges of a fast changing Goa and India, must work in partnership with others, and must constantly strive to build its capacity, to ensure the sustainability and scaling up of its work. Our Partnership activities are required not only to meet the challenges posed by our diverse activities but also to enhance the quality of the training that is imparted to our staff and the services we provide to the community.
We believe very strongly that to provide effective quality services, our staff need to be equipped with sufficient support and information. Sangath has always given great importance to strengthen the capacities of our professionals to achieve our mission. Partnership for development focuses on two major activities: capacity building of our staff and of other organisations; and dissemination and documentation.
These activities include sponsoring or arranging participation of the staff in training courses, conducting workshops and conferences relevant to the nature of our work, organizing training programs for parents, teachers, young people and other stakeholders, collaborating with and supporting local, national, international organisations and government bodies who share our goals and reaching out to the wider community through awareness meetings, lectures, workshops, documentation and publication of our works.
